If you were hoping to drive to Ann Arbor and watch the game at the Crisler Center Monday night, University Of Michigan officials say hope you’re a season ticket holder.

While it would be "cool" to watch Monday night’s championship game between the Wolverines and Villanova on campus, in the home arena with other fans, WOODTV says a watch party for Monday night’s game will only be available for season ticket holders. (Possible incentive to buy season tickets next year?)

As to why the arena isn’t open to everyone, Associate Athletic Direct Kurt Svoboda told WOODTV,

"Event attendance is being limited because the arena hosted a gymnastics meet Saturday night and will host the Big Ten gymnastics championships this week. That means gymnastics equipment must be kept on the arena floor."

University officials told WOODTV the tickets which up to 4 are available to season ticket holders, were first-come, first-served.  If you want the tickets you need to go to your season ticket holder account online and print your tickets off prior to Monday night.  Doors will open at 8 pm with the game scheduled to start at 9:20 pm.

It's more fun to watch the game at a bar with cheaper food and drinks anyway, right?
