Warning For People & Pets; Tick Season Arrives In Grand Rapids & West Michigan

Ticks spread Lyme Disease and can cause some other serious health problems.  Tick season has arrived in West Michigan and will continue until the first hard frost, most likely until some time in October.  Some of the areas where ticks like to congregate are fields with tall grass, wooded areas and the sand dunes.   Please be aware and see what you can do about ticks in Grand Rapids and West Michigan.
