'Movies In The Park' is a free, outdoor movie series at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids.
The first round of movies was in August and included: The Princess Bride, Back To The Future, and Anchorman. It was a lot of fun!
Now it's time for round two. Once again, the movies shown will be decided by popular vote.
The first movie will be shown on October 18. There are 17 movies to choose from including: Goonies, Toy Story, Office Space, The Notebook, Top Gun, The Sandlot, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Finding Nemo, and more!
The second and third movies will be part of a Halloween themed double feature on October 25. The first movie will be more of a family themed showing. The second will be more suited for adults.
There are 13 movies to choose from for the first movie of the double feature including: E.T., Ghostbusters, Monsters Inc., Beetle Juice, The Gremlins, and more.
There are 20 movies to choose from for the second movie of the double feature including: Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Sixth Sense, The Lost Boys, Blair Witch Project, Halloween, Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm St., and more.
