Are you planning to ship gifts to friends and loved ones this holiday season through the United States Postal Service? Well, the U.S. Postal Service has some deadlines that it would like for you to remember.

To ensure packages are delivered in time for Christmas, USPS recommends shipping by the following dates:

  • December 2: First-class mail international and priority mail international
  • December 20: First-class and priority mail in the U.S.

The busiest day for the post office this year is expected to be December 15.

Fed Ex and UPS also have deadlines for the last day packages can be shipped in order for them to arrive by Christmas, depending on the shipping location.
