United Way “Fill the Cart” Drive a Huge Success

It's not often we hear the results of a campaign to help others. The appeal goes out, people donate, and that's that. Just like Heart of West Michigan United Way's campaign to FILL THE CART. The need was great, as they wanted to answer the need of at-risk families in the greater Grand Rapids and West Michigan area.

So, how did it go?

Heart of West Michigan United Way posted on their Facebook page a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who coordinated and donated to their Fill the Cart Collection Drive! Just Look.

Each item will support local families and the impactful work of nine agencies in our community including Baxter Community Center, Flat River Outreach Ministries, ICCF Inner City Christian Federation, Meals on Wheels Western Michigan, Mel Trotter Ministries, Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan, Samaritas, Steepletown, Well House. These agencies support families in a housing or health crisis, refugees, and ALICE.
