Two Plainfield Township Elementary Schools In “Shelter In Place” Mode

Just seeing on WZZM13 that two elementary schools in Plainfield Township are on lockdown.

Information is sketchy, but Kent County Sheriff's Deputies were responding to a report of a suicidal person in the area of Belmont Avenue and Saddle Drive. Apparently this person has made various threats.

Right now there is no immediate threat to the kids, but because Belmont Elementary and Assumption School are nearby, they are in "shelter in place" mode during the police activity.
