Toto the dog came calling today.

Toto visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Brooke, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Toto into the studios.

Toto is a 5-year old Staffordshire Terrier-mix, that needs a good, loving home. He is very laid back and loving, and loves to be with people.

According to the American Kennel Club, the Am Staf will enjoy daily exercise and is adaptable to almost anything you want to do to provide this. They are keenly aware of their surroundings, up for anything, and lovable “personality dogs” around the house. Am Staffs are highly trainable, too.

Through the end of the year, the Humane Society is having their cat special and waiving the fee for any cat 5-months and older. For the Silver-Paws cats, 7-years and older, they are also offering free vaccinations for life for distemper.

There will be a big fundraiser for the Humane Society at Olives Restaurant on Wealthy Street, SE, in East Grand Rapids on the day before Thanksgiving, next Wednesday, November 25. They will donate 20% of all food and beverage sales from 5 to 10 p.m.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
