Top Movie Actors are Earning a lot of Money

We all hear about the astounding salaries of our top movie stars, but when you hear the figures it's mind blowing.

So, what do they earn, and who is earning it? Take a look.

Dwayne Johnson is the highest-paid actor in the world, according to Forbes magazine.

The Rock earned $64.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016, rocketing him up from number-11 last year. The Furious 7 star tweeted, “Want to say two things about this. I started w/$7 bucks. If I can overcome, so can you. Waffle House on me!”

To put that into perspective, The Rock earns more than $175,000 a day! Yikes!

Jackie Chan was a close second with $61 million. Matt Damon ($55 million), Tom Cruise ($53 million) and Johnny Depp ($48 million) round out the Top 5.

Robert Downey Junior, who had been number-one for the past three years, fell to number-nine with $33 million.
