I was broadcasting my part of the "Andy & Chuck Morning Show" this morning from Consumers Energy.  Because today is recognized as National Night Out day, I was joined by local Mayors and Law Enforcement Officers from Grandville, Wyoming, Kentwood, Rockford and Kent County, to kick it off.Never mind that part of my broadcast was 65 feet off the ground in the bucket of one of Consumers Powers line trucks.  Fun!?!?!?

The event is aimed at strengthening community spirit, heightening crime prevention awareness, and generating support for anti-crime programs.

National Night Out is celebrated by community block parties, cook-outs and other fun events.
