Today is Constitution Day in the United States

Did you know today is Constitution Day, a very unique American Holiday?  Probably not.  It’s a day to honor, and, remember our constitution and how, for 226 years, has become a sort of beacon that we live by.

I found a wonderfully written article on our news partner, WZZM TV13‘s website, by Wilfred M. McClay, the founding co-director of the Center for Reflective Citizenship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

It’s a good read, and really brings into perspective what our constitution means, or should mean to all of us.

Read it HERE.
