The Outfield’s John Spinks, Writer of ‘Your Love,’ Dies at Age 60
Though The Outfield may not be a household name, or anyone's favorite band ever, you definitely know their hit, "Your Love." But now the man who wrote that song, Outfield guitarist John Spinks, has died.

The Outfield was no one-hit wonder; they also charted in the 1980s with "Say It Isn't So," "All the Love in the World," and "Everytime You Cry." Spinks was the chief songwriter for the Outfield.
