On Thursday morning, The Eagles announced their History of The Eagles tour will include a stop at Van Andel Arena right here in Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids show will take place on Monday, Sept. 8.

The History of the Eagles Tour, features classics spanning their career as well as songs featured in History of the Eagles, the band’s acclaimed, top-selling documentary.

The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earning five No. 1 U.S. singles and six Grammy Awards.

The band is touring in Europe from mid-May through July 2 before its U.S. dates.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 28, 10 a.m. EST. For the Grand Rapids performance, tickets will be available at Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place convention center box offices; Ticketmaster ticket centers; online at Ticketmaster.com; and by phone at (800) 745-3000.
