Ten Most-Hazardous Michigan Roads Are In Grand Rapids Area

Many people around here complain about the condition of roads.  Honestly, I don't get it.  Roads around here are certainly not as bad as what you'd find near Detroit.

Alas, the Michigan DOT released their "2012 Transparency Report" outlining the most needed safety improvements on Michigan roads.  Ten of those are in the Grand Rapids metro area. See if you agree!

• US 131 Southbound ramp to 68th Street
• US 131 Southbound ramp to 44th Street
• US 131 Northbound ramp to Burton Street
• US 131 Southbound at Wealthy on-ramp
• US 131 Northbound between Hall and Franklin
• US 131 Northbound from just south of I-196 to I-196 interchange
• Alpine between Coventry and Alpine Church Street
• Beltline between Fulton and I-96
• 28th Street between Buchanan and Division
• Wilson Avenue at O'Brien
