Beyonce showed the true meaning of Christmas by gifting hundreds of Walmart shoppers with a $50 gift card on Friday night in suburban Boston.

According to US Weekly, Beyonce walked into the Tewksbury, Mass. store about 7 p.m., grabbed a cart and look through the aisle for some gifts. The 32-year-old singer then picked up a physical CD of her record-breaking effort, "Beyonce," which has sold more than 1 million copies already.

Beyonce, who was dressed in an aqua-colored crop top and matching skirt with black leather jacket, then went on the store's intercom system to announced that every person will receive a $50 Walmart gift card.

There were $37,500 worth of gift cards given out to 720 shoppers.

The R&B mom even held a baby girl during her visit.

"You are beautiful," she told the little one.

Beyonce’s surprise visit to Walmart comes just days after Target announced it wouldn’t sell Beyonce’s album because it was sold online first.
