Wolverine World Wide

The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) announced a list of participating artists, live entertainment, and bidding upgrades for the 2015 event presented by Wolverine World Wide. UICA’s centerpiece fundraising event happens on May 16, and the proceeds support UICA’s Artworks summer program for teens, community programs, and exhibitions year-round.

The 16th annual Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford, a five-kilometer (3.1-mile) run/walk and kids' fun run, is Saturday in downtown Rockford. Proceeds from the benefit go to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, a non-profit dedicated to expediting viable treatments and a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal genetic disorder that slowly robs those stricken with the disease of their muscle strength

This Friday night Rockford is the place to be.  You can have lots of fun and be helping kids at the same time. It's the annual Wolverine World Wide Family Y Auction with a live auction as well as silent auction items at the Wolverine Worldwide, Inc. Headquarters Banquet Room, located at 9341 Courtland Drive in Rockford.
