Grand Rapids storms hadn't caused a sewage overflow since last July. That streak ended on Monday. Monday's storms led to 58,000 gallons of raw sewage being released into the Grand River.
It happened back in May when we had a downpour of rain. Some Grand Rapids citizens are still trying to get the overflow of sewage water that filled their basements, cleaned up. Apparently the city was working on some sewage lines and there was an overflow...
