One of the 'unsung' hero's here in Kent County, Arbor Circle's The Bridge, will be "looking good" thanks to a $20,000 grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Outstate Michigan. The Bridge has been in need of a much-needed facelift of it's 30-year-old facility designed to provide a safe shelter for runaway youths.

After being The McDonald's mascot for just about 50 years it's goodbye Ronald! As McDonald's tries to move their image into a more "upscale restaurant" there just wasn't a place for him anymore.  Does that mean the Happy Meals are going buh-bye...
