For the past few years, State of Michigan officials have warned residents about a colorful insect that that damages fruit, hops, and hardwood trees. Now, national health experts are backing that up, saying this pest should be killed on sight.
The invasive Asian worm goes by many names including: jumping worm, crazy worm, Alabama jumper, snake worm and amyntha.
Whatever you call it, we don't want it in Michigan.
