Ethnic Diversity Alliance Plans Summit
March 30, 2012 Something very important is happening here in West Michigan this summer.
The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance is holding a Summit on race and inclusion. It will be June 5th at Hope College, and it's open to ALL.
It is extremely important that West Michigan understands the moral and economic need to respect and welcome people from diverse backgrounds by being an inclusive region. In West Michigan, we know it is critical that we educate all of our children, provide economic opportunity for all talent, and ensure everyone is welcome to participate fully in our community. But, we remain stuck. The question is, how do we achieve this elusive, inclusive community?
