It's the first of the year, and there must be some awards to hand out somewhere, I'm pretty sure. Absolutely!  The Golden Globes have been awarded, the Academy Awards announced their nominations, and last Thursday, the Critics' Choice Awards were handed out.  How did I miss that?

'Gravity' made $55.6 million it's opening weekend. A lot of people like 'Gravity'. However, at least one astrophysicist finds it unbelievable.
