If you had the opportunity to try some of the Grandwich entries this year and had a favorite you voted for, hopefully it was enough to push that restaurant into the top 10. Almost 40 participating restaurants created some type of sandwich to be named "the best sandwich in Grand Rapids" and these are the 10 that are advancing into the next round (in alphabetical order): Black Heron Kitch

The sixth annual Grandwich competition opens July 5 in Grand Rapids. 34 restaurants will create their best Grand Rapids sandwich, then the public and a panel of judges will choose which sandwich is the best.

Grand Rapids restaurants have been competing over the past couple of weeks to claim the honor of having the best sandwich of 2015. The public votes have been counted and the ten Grandwich 2015 finalists have been named.

The search for the best sandwich in Grand Rapids is on! The annual Grandwich competition is back for the fifth year and will run through July 31.
