Grand Rapids summer activities

The countdown is on! With the West Michigan Whitecaps’ 23rd Opening Day next week, Saturday, April 9 at Fifth Third Ballpark, the place is buzzing with activity. Several upgrades to the facility’s seating areas should be completed before the first pitch.

Here's some real fun for your kids this summer.  How about the Hunger Games? Kinda-sorta, the Hunger Games will be played throughout the summer at KDL (Kent District Library) branches.

Ahhh, Summer!  It's almost here and school will be out, summer vacation, and, a lot of free time on kids hands. How about spending some of the "free time" at the pool?
