The Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give has announced the list of celebrities playing in the Meijer LPGA Celebrity Pro-Am on June 14 at Egypt Valley Country Club. More than 35 celebrity guests and LPGA Tour professionals will play in the celebrity pro-am.

Meijer officials have announced that they are changing the name of its LPGA tournament to the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give in an effort to focus on its cause of stocking local food pantries.

Two local golfers, Dominic Luciani, a freshman at East Grand Rapids High School and Andrew DeYoung, a senior at Kenowa Hills High School will compete in The Golf to Paradise – First Tee Champions Challenge in Naples, Florida.

A successful weekend for West Michigan student-athletes as boys tennis and girls golf champions were crowned. There were a number of strong finishes from West Michigan schools including championship wins by Forest Hills Central Boys Tennis and from East Kentwood and Spring Lake Girls Golf teams.
