The Michigan high school state finals for boys and girls cross country and boys soccer took place over the weekend. South Christian, Forest Hills Central and Rockford all brought home state titles!
The Michigan High School Athletic Association has selected 14 student-athletes from Class A member schools to receive scholarships through its Scholar-Athlete Award program.
Recipients include students from Grandville, Holland, West Ottawa and Forest Hills Central high schools.
A successful weekend for West Michigan student-athletes as boys tennis and girls golf champions were crowned.
There were a number of strong finishes from West Michigan schools including championship wins by Forest Hills Central Boys Tennis and from East Kentwood and Spring Lake Girls Golf teams.
