Mel Trotter Ministries is always there for people in need, and this year, as in years past, one of the biggest needs over the holidays is food. In the greater Grand Rapids Area, Christmas Food Boxes will be given out to 650 families as part of Mel Trotter Ministries’ Holiday Food Box program.

The Access Pantry Network has completed registration of families for Christmas food and is in need of 400 more providers to shop for and deliver all the food items needed for a family to create a delicious Christmas meal.

This Thursday, November 21, the Twisted Rooster restaurant will make room on its draft list for half a dozen beers from Brewery Vivant.  The goal being to pique the interest of local beer geeks with this season's debut of Vivant's PlowHorse imperial stout, and, more importantly, encourage a big turnout.
