If you think ping pong is just a game you play in your basement, wait’ll you see this. Ibrahim Hamato is an Egyptian man with no arms who just so happens to be really, really good at ping pong.

It's been 23 years since the signing of the ADA, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Disability Advocates are planning a big celebration. Tuesday, July 23, Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids, will be hopping with activity from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

A, fun, major fund raiser for Easter Seals Michigan is next Wednesday, June 13, at the John Ball Zoo.  It's "Walk With Me" and is a nearly 2-mile walk that will wrap around the park and go through the zoo. It's a wonderful opportunity for donors and supporters to meet the people Easter Seals serve, while taking a nice walk and enjoying the Zoo.

The Ms. Wheelchair America Pageant is back in Grand Rapids for the second year in a row.

It's a project long overdue, but it's finally happening.  The ground breaking ceremony took place this morning for a building that will house young adults who are severely disabled.
