Well, here is a big announcement! Coming back to Grand Rapids at Van Andel Arena will be Cher!

A new 6-day summer music festival has just been announced for Muskegon. The festival will be held at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon.

Bob Seger will be returning to West Michigan! He'll hit the stage at Van Andel Arena on March 5th as part of his Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour that kicks off February 27 in Toledo, OH. Tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday, January 19, and of course, The River will have some tickets to give away, as well.

Former DcTalk front man TobyMac brings his show Unplugged: A Night Of Stories & Songs, to the Central Wesleyan Church, April 19th, 7:30pm. Toby joins me on the air for Faith Hope & Love Songs, 9-11am and 7-9pm EST Sunday.  Listen Live! Lat week, twice a day, 100.5 The River gave away concert tickets to see Barry Manilow at the Van Andel Arena, originally scheduled for April 26th at 7:30pm.  That concert date has now been rescheduled.  If you are holding tickets for the original April 26th show they will now be honored on June 14th...

Van Halen with David Lee Roth will be playing The Palace February 20th.  Tickets for the concert go on sale Saturday January 14th!  The tour reunites the band mates, and The Palace is only the second date they are playing on the tour.  Look for David Lee Roth, plus Eddie Van Halen on lead guitar, Alex Van Halen playing drums and this is kind of cool, Eddie’s son, Wolfgang will join his dad on the

Driving into work this morning I noticed the electronic billboard outside the Van Andel Arena was flashing a new "make up" day for the concert Katy Perry cancelled on September 11th.  The new date she will return to the Van Andel Arena is December 1st...

Bad news for Van Andel Arena ticket holders. Katy Perry has an upper respiratory illness and is too sick to sing tonight.

Never saw her in person but this is one tour I would love to see.  Think she still has it?  I'm guessing she does.  Tickets go on sale July 9th and I have all the details you need!

Elton John will be back in Detroit, come September, to perform at the DTE Music Theatre.  The last time Elton played there was back in 1989 when it was known as Pine Knob.   This WILL Sell Out!  Tickets go on sale June 24th.
