This Sunday is Father’s Day! Plus we have festivals, fireworks, the Phillie Phanatic, female golf and food. There is also baseball recycling, water slides, and a new exhibit opening at the museum. Plenty to keep everyone busy this weekend.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has awarded over $600,000 in grants to support 14 recycling projects in Michigan. Grand Rapids-based electronic recycling company Comprenew is receiving $67,500 to expand their electronic recycling to 10 new locations across Michigan.

If you have an old computer, TV or other electronic device that you want to recycle, you can do it for free this weekend!  And you'll get rid of it in an environmentally friendly way, too!
