September 2, 2012 ArtPrize is set to kick off on September 19. Each year the competition brings a few new surprises, among those this year is an entry valued at $25,000. It will be auctioned off to benefit West Michigan charities.
August 16, 2012 ArtPrize held their Volunteer Kick-Off Rally last night at 55 Campau in downtown Grand Rapids.
The rally was meant as a thank you to current volunteers and also as an opportunity to draw further attention to the need for more volunteers.
About 1,000 total volunteers are needed for ArtPrize. ArtPrize remains a few hundred short of that goal.
July 20, 2012 ArtPrize is just a couple of months away. The competition begins September 19 and runs through October 7, but ArtPrize couldn't happen without the help of hundreds of volunteers.
ArtPrize in now recruiting groups to volunteer together.
June 14, 2012 You may remember SiTE:LAB from ArtPrize. Last year, SiTE:LAB won the first ArtPrize venue award for their collection of art in the former Junior Achievement building at 2 East Fulton in Grand Rapids.
SiTE:LAB has displayed art at other Grand Rapids locations in the past. This weekend, SiTE:LAB takes over Blandford Nature Center.

Being an artist, he soon realized he had to come to this "Grand Rapids place!"
