Whitecaps Offering Pre-4th of July Ticket Deal

The West Michigan Whitecaps, have had a great season so far. Very few bad weather days and nights at Fifth Third Ballpark, a fine team on the field that has already made the playoffs, and the usual assortment of great food, family fun, and wacky promotions.

For the fourth year in a row, The Salvation Army will be partnering with the West Michigan Sports Commission during the Yule Run, I’ll Walk Family Fun Event.

How cool is this!  The West Michigan Whitecaps will be paying tribute to the Negro Leagues at this Wednesday's game. (The photo is an actual sign from the day.  It is now a part of the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown) It has been more than 50 years since Willie "Honey" Honicutt & Nathan "Sonny" Weston have been in each others company.

If you want to go to see the Whitecaps play the Lansing Lugnuts on Opening Day, Sunday, April 10th you can do it for $5.  Here's the catch!
