There was still ice on Lake Superior over Memorial Day weekend, but that didn't stop swimmers and kayakers from braving the cold waters.

Ice is nearly gone from the Great Lakes, but we're not there yet.

Analysis on Memorial Day showed that 1.7% of the Great Lake are still covered with ice.

A few water lovers experienced that cold and ice firsthand.
