If you’re searching for fun activities for your kids this summer, how about the Van Singel Fine Arts Center for the summer theatre camp scheduled for June 27-30 from 9am to 1pm.

It will be a great time. Students will discover how fun theatre can be! Students in grades three through seven will have the opportunity to explore the many components of theatre including role playing, improvising, rehearsing, costuming and performing during a five-day theatre camp hosted by the Van Singel Fine Arts Center in Byron Center. The week will end with a short performance for parents on Thursday at 12 noon.

Tuition is $85 for the four-day theatre camp.

The camp will be lead by Rosanne Steffens, in her 10th year teaching the Van Singel summer theatre. She has also has taught theatre arts classes acting/improvisation) at GR Civic School of the Theatre Arts and at Kenowa Hills Public Schools.

Registrations can also be dropped off at the Van Singel Fine Arts Center box office, Monday through Friday, 12 pm to 5 pm or mailed to the Van Singel Fine Arts Center.
