DraftMag spoke with Founders Brewing Co. brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki about the best time to drink Kentucky Breakfast Stout.

The answer will make you thirsty.

Kosmicki told DraftMag:

It’s a personal preference thing. Myself, I prefer to drink them as fresh as possible. Those coffee and chocolate flavors will fade a bit over time, and the oakiness will come out a bit more.

That's all the encouragement we need, but there's more. DraftMag did their own testing and found the same results. KBS holds up, but it doesn't necessarily improve.

Everyone will have their own preferences and tastes, but doesn't a KBS sound good right now?
