The life-size Jimmy Howard bobblehead in Detroit had it's head stolen Thursday morning.

An arrest was made and the head recovered later that same morning.

Detroit Red Wings fans were unpleasantly surprised by the sight of a headless Jimmy Howard early Thursday.

It didn't take long for the head to be found.

Allen Park police have recovered the stolen head belonging to the life-sized Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard bobblehead statue that was stolen Thursday morning.

A man in his 20s was arrested Thursday morning from a home in Allen Park in connection to the missing head, according to Allen Park Police Chief James Wilkewitz.

“We went to that person’s house, and they admitted to the theft, and they told us where the head was,” Wilkewitz said.

Not surprising that someone who would choose to steal a bobblehead would also be caught so quickly.
