The anticipation continues to grow. Star Wars:The Force Awakens will be in theaters next week. Tickets are selling so fast it may be the biggest Star Wars film yet. Will it be the most popular? Nobody knows yet, but it's been a long time since a new episode has been released, so demand is huge.

Do you have a favorite? I'm old school and am partial to the first three, officially episodes IV, V, and VI.

Ranker.com has come out with a list of the best Star Wars movies, ranked by fans and critics. Since the premiere of the original Star Wars (A New Hope) in 1977, the saga of the Jedi, the Sith, and the Skywalker family have been favorites of movie-goers. Along with the original film, its sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and The Return of the Jedi (1983) are considered some of the best movies of all time.

Sixteen years after the release of the initial films, a trilogy of Star Wars prequels were created, beginning with Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 1999. Attack of the Clones was released in 2002, and Revenge of the Sith (2005) was the final film. None of these films was as popular and the original three, so, I ask you, what was your favorite? You can see what a lot of folks think so far HERE.
