St. Joseph, Michigan Is Proud Of Local Sport’s Illustrated Cover Girl Kate Upton

The city of St. Joseph, Michigan and Michigan Congressman Fred Upton are in the International spotlight!  Not for passing some controversial law, not for another politician being "on the take" but for having a local girl, make good.

Yup, Kate Upton.  The name may sound familiar because she is this years Sports Illustrated cover girl.  You know the one.  She's the one that everybody seems to be talking about. Yeah, every SI cover girl gets attention but Kate is getting extra attention because of the swimsuit she is wearing.  So many in the media have spoken out about the lack of coverage saying, "This year's SI cover looks like it belongs on Playboy or Penthouse."  Some have joked that Playboy and Penthouse's cover girls actually have more clothing on.

Kate Upton's uncle has come out to say that he is "proud of his niece's accomplishments." Really?  He wasn't walking about the cover was he?  The family is anxious to see where this takes her career.  I can pretty much tell you where this will take her career if the family actually considers this an accomplishment.  I guess it's good for a kid when the family sets the bar this low...
