Social Charity Club Of Grand Rapids Raising Money For Pine Rest At Mojos [POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER]

The Social Charity Club of Grand Rapids likes to have fun!  More importantly, the Social Charity Club of Grand Rapids likes to raise money for deserving local organizations.

The SCC of GR will raise money for Pine Rest at Mojos in Grand Rapids.

Every month the SCC of GR hosts an event at a different Grand Rapids venue.  Each event raises money for a different charity.  A $10 donation gets you a complimentary drink and appetizers.  100% of that donation goes directly towards that month's charity.

On February 7, visit Mojos between 5:30pm and 9:00pm to participate.  Give $10.  Have fun!  And know that you're doing your part to support Pine Rest.

Pine Rest has been providing comprehensive behavioral health services in Grand Rapids for over 100 years.  They have recently begun a new "Mother and Baby" program which will be featured at Thursday night's event.

PineRest.org explains the program:

The partial hospitalization program treats a number of perinatal mood disorders including postnatal depression, postpartum psychosis, postpartum anxiety and perinatal depression.

Past venues and beneficiary's include:  Grand Woods Lounge/Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Holiday Bar/Family Hope Foundation, and many more.

SCC of GR hosts events on the second Thursday of each month.  The group was founded in 2011 and has raised $27,967 for Grand Rapids charities.
