Snowshoeing Begins at Blandford Nature Center

An early start to winter means an early start to winter sports in West Michigan.

That includes snowshoeing at Blandford Nature Center.

West Michigan has seen record early snowfall with signs of still more to come.

Winter sports fans are loving it.

Cannonsburg Ski Area will open on Saturday, November 22. The open will mark the earliest opening in Cannonsburg history. Cannonsburg was established in 1965.

Blandford Nature Center today announced that snowshoeing and snowshoe rentals have already begun. Rentals are $5 for members and $6 for non-members. Sizes available are from upper elementary to adult.

Time to enjoy our early start to winter.
