Driving in winter is tough enough in Michigan, we don't need to have our windshield smashed by ice.

Kevin Hoffer was making his way up US 131 near Kalamazoo when a snow plow clearing off the road above him on an overpass dumped a boatload of snow his way. The load was too much and cracked his windshield. He caught the whole thing on his dashcam.

“I didn’t expect (the snow) to hit,” he told WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids. “I expected to actually get past it or for it to come down before it got to me.”

Hoffer is fine after the mishap, only out the cost of his deductible.
