Pop-rock star Al Stewart brings his greatest hits and new works to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts (400 Culver Street) one night only on October 4, 2014, at 8:00 p.m.

Stewart’s multi-million-selling hits "Year of the Cat" and "Time Passages" were staples of FM radio. In fact, both albums reached the top ten in the US, with "Year of the Cat" peaking at No. 5 and "Time Passages" at No. 10. Critics call Stewart’s lyrics "intelligent", "thoughtful" and "complex" – his songs the perfect blend of smart, lush lyrics and upbeat, hooky melodies.

Over the years, Stewart has continued to write, record, and tour. He’s currently touring behind his latest album, "Uncorked", in which he and musical partner Dave Nachmanoff take a trip through Stewart’s musical back pages, both in terms of the musical catalogue (they did have nearly 20 albums’ worth of songs to pick from), and in terms of performance style.

Of his latest disk, Music Tap’s Matt Row says, "Uncorked is an intimate setting played in front of a small, but appreciative audience. Its music is rich and classic Al Stewart, music you can fall in love with. If you’re a Stewart fan, spanning beyond his peak years, then this set is a must for you. The sound is wonderful and unhampered providing for undiluted Al Stewart."

Don’t miss this very special one-night-only performance in the SCA’s 400-seat boutique theatre. Reserved seats are $35.00 and can be purchased at 269.857.2399 or www.sc4a.org
