Sunscreen! It’s That Time of Year – Sunscreen.

Summer is just around the corner.  Ahhh, Summer!  We'll be outside more, at the beach, on the golf course, tennis court, camping, bike riding, boating.....so many things to do in West Michigan.

One other thing to do?  Put on the Sunscreen, and, lots of it.  You, your kids, all need protection.

Do You Suffer From “Tannorexia?”

I think we have all followed the "tanning Mom" story.  It has upset a lot of mothers, tanning salon owners and just about anyone with a central nervous system and a basic sense of moral decency or sanity.

When I first saw the story on national TV I jumped on it and we talked about it on my show "Mornings with Andy" on 100.5 The River.  The comments were all negative!

It's because she, Patricia Krentcil allegedly took her five-year-old daughter to a tanning salon to get a bit of bronzing done.

What's going on here?  Is this a mirage?  West Michigan gas prices are averaging $3.70 to start the week, a nearly 20-cent drop from a week ago.

The "so-called" experts were predicting doom-and-gloom with prices possibly hitting $5 a gallon by summer.  Well, not so.  In fact, this represents a 45-cent drop from a year ago. Gas was $3.51 at some stations in Cedar Springs and Sparta on this morning, according to GrandRapidsGasPrices.com.
