Popsicles and ice cream are nice summer treats, but nothing is sweeter than Sherbet from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Sherbet.

It was the Sunday before Thanksgiving in 2008. Crash's Landing's doorbell rang at 7:00pm.  At the door they found two cats.  One of them was Sherbet.

Sherbet had been spayed, front declawed, and was healthy.  It was fortunate that there happened to be room at Crash's Landing that night or they would have been forced to take both cats to the Humane Society.

The other cat dropped off with Sherbet has been adopted.  Sherbet is still looking for a home.

Sherbet is very friendly and outgoing.  She would make a great addition to your family!

Can you adopt Sherbet?

Can't adopt, but still want to help?
