See The First Picture Of Missing Newaygo County Toddler After Her Rescue [Photo]

Two-and-a-half year old Amber Rose Smith had all of West Michigan (I would wager to say the whole lower peninsula of Michigan) praying for her safe return earlier this week. Amber Rose went missing from her home near the Manistee State Forest on Tuesday afternoon, and both her parents and rescue workers feared that the toddler had wandered into the forest. But, almost twenty-four hours later, Amber Rose was found alive and well by DNR officer Jeff Ginn. And now we have a picture of what that first moment of her rescue looked like.

Amber Rose was found in the brush near a road nearly two miles from her home on Wednesday afternoon. Though she had spent an entire night outside in the elements, she seemed to be unscathed aside from some minor scratches and bruises.

The girl was transported to a local hospital to be checked out, but authorities believe that she'll be fine.

According to our friends at WZZM-13, the first thing the little girl asked her mother for was some hot chocolate.
