UPDATE: (2:20pm) The Belding police have confirmed that the body of 10-year-old Devon Morrison was found in the Flat River just before 1pm on Monday.

Police will continue their investigation into the cause of his death.

Chief Nelson also thanked the community for all the efforts in searching for Devon.

Police officers, volunteers from throughout the community, and the F.B.I. are looking for a ten-year-old boy missing since Saturday afternoon. The boy's name is Devon Morrison and he hasn't been seen since leaving his home Belding. He was on his way to the Flat River to go fishing and police are calling his disappearance suspicious.

On Sunday, dive crews scoured the Flat River, but only found a pair of shoes.

Police are planning to expand their search on Monday. They are also concerned about the cold, wet conditions we experienced on Sunday night.
