Anyway, today, the remains of the guy who played "Scotty" on Star Trek will be spread into space.

It's a privately owned rocket lifting off from Cape Canaveral whose main reason is to deliver food, clothes and supplies for 6 astronauts on board the International Space Station.

However, its second purpose is to spread remains of hard-core space fans into, well, space.  Those people include actor James Doohan, who was chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott on the original Star Trek television series.
