School’s Out For Summer Grand Rapids

Will Smith did a song called Summertime, it was that song from the 90's that celebrated being out of school for the summer.  Then there was that old song Alice Cooper sang called, School's Out. And all of the nonsensical songs that kids just make up the words to that celebrate the end of another school year. I remember those days.  I would mark them off on my calendar until vacation was here!

Well, it's just about that time again mom, so Brace Yourself! One week away, and counting down the days until June 8th.  According to the Grand Rapids Public School System calendar that is the official end of the school year.

So how do you plan on spending your summer with the kids?  Are you staying in town?  Are you going on a vacation close to home?  Maybe heading up to your cottage?  Or possibly you have saved up enough money to leave town and travel a bit!
