The Kettle Campaign of the Salvation Army has only a few day remaining to reach their goal of $1.6 million dollars.  Dollars so urgently need in West Michigan to help the homeless, hungry and those in need.

So many individuals and families have fallen on tough times this year, and with out the caring of the Salvation Army, might not have any one or place to turn to.

So often we walk right past the "bell ringer" on the street, in stores and malls, without dropping money into the kettle.  It's easy to do because we're so busy, concerned about other things.  But I'm hoping you could turn your concern to others this holiday time and greet the bell ringer with a "Merry Christmas" and a donation in the kettle.  It's a good feeling!

We can feel proud that the 32-Hour Bell-Ringing Marathon last week in front of the Van Andel Arena was a success.  There was a anonymous matching-gift of $10,000 if they could reach a $10,000 goal, and they did!  So, with the match, the 32-hours raised over $20,000!
