Running Out Of Gas In Grand Rapids

Have you ever ran out of gas? AAA reports an 18% increase since March in roadside calls for drivers who have run out of gas. Sadly, I have drained the tank twice in the past couple years. Once on my way to hockey practice with two players in the car. Within a few minutes, a good samaritan with his own gas can stopped and gave me a lift to the gas station. Couple years later, my son and I were driving to the Intersection to watch my oldest son's rock band play. We ran out of gas descending the hill next to the Intersection and coasting downhill right up to the gas pumps of the gas station on the corner. What luck. What about you?
