Rosie the dog came calling today.

Rosie visited with Andy Rent as he talked about her on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Trudy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Rosie into the studios.

Rosie is a 2-month old Dachshund terrier mix looking for her forever home. She came to the Humane Society from Alabama.

The Dachshund is a lively breed with a friendly personality and keen sense of smell according to the American Kennel Club.

Trudy mentioned that now through November 22, they are having an adoption event:  "New Family Member November" where small animals and adult cats 6 months and older are fee waived.  Adult dogs five months will have the adoption fee $99 (a savings of $96 dollars).
