Rockford Summer Celebration Parade 2011

The 43rd annual Rockford Start of Summer Celebration parade was Saturday, June 11, 2011. A big crowd turned out for the festivities, which featured many hometown floats and dignitaries, the Rockford High School Marching Band the world famous Scottville Clown Band. Former Police Lt. Scott Mazur was the Grand Marshall. Mazur retired from the Rockford Police Dept after 30 years of service to the community. I got to announce the parade and had a great vantage point to take pictures!
